Why use only digital IP cameras? Simple: Spend more now, enjoy better quality, save more later. The rise of digital surveillance security has laid bare analog’s many shortcomings. Analog CCTV security systems are generally maintenance intensive, offer no remote accessibility, and are notoriously difficult to integrate with other systems while providing inferior quality footage. Despite these obvious deficiencies, the end user who has invested in cameras, cables, and more, and is satisfied with the current quality is right to ask, “Why buy new equipment?” Implementing a digital security system does not require throwing away those trusted (and already paid-for) cameras. With IP Surveillance, you can still use all the cameras, lenses, and cables in place through this step-by-step migration to digital technology. Xtreme uses only high quality IP cameras for our IP Surveillance security systems. We consider ourselves at the forefront of technology in the Gold Coast security sector. As some of the industry leaders in Network Camera performance, the brands we use provide market-leading quality and functionality. A common situation for customers looking for surveillance solutions is to compare the costs of low-definition coaxial based security systems to the costs of IP cameras; yet the old cliche of "getting what you pay for" is no exception with surveillance equipment. Customers who have dealt with other companies simply aiming for the lowest price often find that their cameras break down within a span of 6 to 12 months - requiring constant maintenance, replacement, or even being sold surveillance technology that lets them down when an event occurs, either because their equipment is not recording or the images captured provide no usable evidence. We pride ourselves on the quality of our hardware - it is well-made, highest grade and famously durable while providing imaging resolutions that are currently unmatched. The initial investment will often pay for itself over the course of the same time a cheaper system would need to be maintained and replaced, and stay effective and functional for many years to come. If this wasn't enough, the cameras themselves come with a 2 or 3-year warranty for parts and hardware replacement. Featured Cameras and Product Specifications

Axis P5534 PTZ Dome Network Camera
Provides Pan/Tilt/Zoom functionality with 720Progressive HTDV Imaging Quality Unlike with most cameras that offer PTZ features at a loss of image quality, the AXIS P5534 PTZ provides a resolution of 720 with progressive rather than interlaced scan. This means that footage is taken as a whole image, as opposed to interlaced scanning which pieces 2 halves of an image together and can lead to frame rates that can appear "jumpy" or leave out important evidence that is recorded in motion. Advanced Pan/Tilt/Zoom capabilities The PTZ camera provides 18x optical and 12x digital zoom with autofocus. It can pan 360 degrees due to the unique auto-flip functionality, which allows the camera to simulate a continuous pan beyond the mechanical stop, thereby enabling an operator to continuously follow an object. The AXIS p5534 incorporates Advanced Gatekeeper functionality, which enables the camera to automatically pan, tilt and zoom when there is activity in the scene and zoom out after a preset amount of time. Power over Ethernet for easy installation The camera can be powered through High Power over Ethernet, which simplifies installation since only one cable is required for power, video and PTZ controls. A High PoE midspan is supplied with the camera, which complies with the industry standard IEEE 802.3at.
